What’s happening with SkinTastic Creations?

Thanks to Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, we have a new focus on our next stage of growth.

Our products were ready to be on the shelves of other retailers a couple years ago, but we realized that it would be impossible to keep up with supply when we were still making them on our kitchen table. This was one reason we opened the store, Melanie’s Health & Nutrition.

For over two years we have been making products in the manufacturing area located in the back section of the store. We have an awesome team trained to help us with this growth now. If you are in the store, be sure to take a look through our viewing window to see our production in progress. When we are working you may see us cutting soap, making lotion or we may even have the bath bomb press going. We’ve had some people make the comment that, “This is where the magic happens,” and we love to share that magic with you.

Now we are ready to put our homegrown skin care products on the shelves of other retail stores. We are actively working to set up accounts in other health food stores and grocery stores in Utah. However we will be reaching outside of Utah also. In fact we recently went to Portland where we met some health food store buyers. So don’t be surprised when you see SkinTastic products on the shelves in Oregon.

How can you help. We know that you would love to find our products closer to where you live, and that is within reach. If there is a store you would like to see our products in, there are two things you can do. First, let us know so we can reach out to them. Second, ask them to stock our product in their store. If they know our customers are seeking our products they will be quicker to stock them.

We are grateful to you, our SkinTastic family, for making it possible for us to keep creating new products and sharing them with you.

Thanks for your support!
