Herbal Facial Serum

Herbal Facial Serum was built to reduce skin damage that comes from environment, stress, and age. While skin is made to stand against strain, this pick-me-up can help it stand more gracefully.

When we developed this recipe we looked at what our customers have asked for help with and then combined the natural solutions into one marvelous face product.

Healthful homegrown herbs, nourishing plant oils, and fortifying essential oils make up the entire list of ingredients in this powerful skin aide.

We start with our favorite base of almond oil that has been infused with the whole herbs calendula, comfrey, and chickweed. The herbs soak in the almond oil for four full weeks so that the oil carries with it all of the traits of the plants. Each of these herbs is considered beneficial to skin. Among the results observed with them are slower skin aging, faster healing, less scarring, reduced free radical activity, soothed irritations, and reduced acne.

To this base we add the plant oil that most closely matches human oils: jojoba. We include it to make the facial serum more readily absorbed, increase its moisturizing ability, and get some more antioxidant action.

Our final addition is chamomile and geranium essential oils. We chose these because of their ability to calm irritation and help with hormone balancing. And of course they provide even more antioxidants.

We wanted a big antioxidant kick from our facial serum because free radicals are a big factor in aging skin. They weaken the skin’s ability to keep its shape and recover from stresses. Our facial serum includes different antioxidants to tackle different kinds of free radicals. The result is a mighty tonic that fights free radicals to prevent and smooth wrinkles.
