This Lavender Lemongrass Deodorant cares for skin while fighting underarm bacteria and odor. The fresh blend of lavender with lemongrass delivers a pleasant, clean, warm scent.
The calming effect of lavender is well known. The essential oil is often used for its popular familiar aroma. We chose it not only for its soothing ability, but also because it fights free radicals, toxins, and bacteria. Since underarm odor comes from bacteria, lavender is perfect for deodorants.
Lemongrass is also a powerful antioxidant and is noted for its cleansing properties. With a scent very similar to lemons, lemongrass is another favorite essential oil for relaxation.
These relaxing oils add to the benefits of the core natural ingredients that we use for our deodorants. The combination is smooth and simple and neatly manages underarm odor and its causes.
Coconut oil is the backbone of our deodorants. We chose it because of its strong ability to fight the bacteria that cause odor and because it is nourishing to skin.
A generous amount of arrowroot powder is added to absorb moisture. It is silky and softening and very good at absorbing sweat.
Beeswax works with the coconut oil to create a strong deodorant stick that glides smoothly in application. We add a tiny amount of baking soda to make use of its deodorizing ability. The amount is kept low in order to avoid irritation.

Note: This is not antiperspirant and will not keep you from sweating. Instead, it works with your body to naturally absorb moisture and keep bacteria from causing unwanted odor.
Tip: When switching from an antiperspirant to a natural deodorant it may take several weeks for your body to adjust. Be patient and ready to apply more often as you adjust.
This deodorant smells so good and has helped make me feel more confident when I’m in work environments. I have had compliments about my perfume, but i don’t wear perfume, just use this soap and deodorant.
