Activated Charcoal Deodorant is aluminum-free, paraben-free, and sulfate-free. It comes in a 2.65 oz. convenient twist-up tube.
This natural deodorant stick unites activated charcoal with lime and spearmint essential oils. Activated charcoal is recognized for its ability to draw out impurities and toxins and for its super capacity for absorbing moisture. Lime and spearmint essential oils not only smell fabulous together, they are also antiseptic in nature and work to neutralize odor.
These benefits are added to the core of the natural ingredients that we use for all of our deodorants. The combination is smooth and simple and neatly manages underarm odor and its causes.
Coconut oil is the backbone of our deodorants. We chose it because of its strong ability to fight the bacteria that cause odor and because it is nourishing to the skin.
A generous amount of arrowroot powder is added to absorb moisture. It is silky and softening and very good at absorbing sweat.
Beeswax works with the coconut oil to create a strong deodorant stick that glides smoothly in the application. We add a tiny amount of baking soda to make use of its deodorizing ability. The amount is kept low in order to avoid irritation.
Activated Charcoal Deodorant provides extra moisture absorption with the clean scents of crisp lime and gentle spearmint.
Benefits of our ingredients:
Activated charcoal: purifies by drawing out impurities and toxins; super absorbent.
Coconut oil: neutralizes odor by fighting odor-causing bacteria.
Arrowroot powder: absorbs moisture; silky starch.
Beeswax: helps to bond ingredients into an easy-to-use stick.
Spearmint essential oil: fights bacteria and other microbes; clean, pleasant scent.
Lime essential oil: disinfects; fresh scent.
Note: This is not an antiperspirant and will not keep you from sweating. Instead, it works with your body to naturally absorb moisture and keep bacteria from causing the unwanted odor.
Tip: When switching from an antiperspirant to a natural deodorant it may take several weeks for your body to adjust. Be patient and ready to apply more often as you adjust.
