This natural deodorant is fragrance-free and has no essential oils. It features the plant-based standard for dealing with underarm odor that we use in all of our deodorants. Together they have all of the tools needed to fight the bacteria that cause odor.
Coconut oil is the backbone of our deodorants. We chose it because of its strong ability to fight the bacteria that cause odor and because it is nourishing to skin.
A generous amount of arrowroot powder is added to absorb moisture. It is silky and softening and very good at absorbing sweat.
Beeswax works with the coconut oil to create a strong deodorant stick that glides smoothly in application. We add a tiny amount of baking soda to make use of its deodorizing ability. The amount is kept low in order to avoid irritation.
Our Unscented Deodorant is great for people with sensitive skin and for people who simply prefer their deodorant to be fragrance-free.
Note: This is not antiperspirant and will not keep you from sweating. Instead it works with your body naturally to absorb moisture and keep bacteria from causing unwanted body odor.
Tip: When switching from an antiperspirant to a natural deodorant it may take several weeks for your body to adjust. Be patient and ready to apply more often as you adjust.
